Ari growled over under her breath and just tried to sleep the last thing she wanted was to get into an argument with the jerk so instead she opted to just close her eyes. Like a light she was out in only minutes able to find some peace as she rested. The teen slept through the night with ease, unlike her room mate. She shifted every once in awhile but for the most part was very happy in her sleep. The teen woke up early as per her norm, the sun finding it's way to her face causing her to stir. She yawned softly as her eyes fluttered open wincing at the sun. Ugh... morning already? She shook her head as she rolled on her back stretching as she tried to wake up. Hmmm that was a really good sleep!

Chris tried his best to sleep, but only managed an hour or two before he was awake again. It was something that he'd always hated, not even medication helped. It either didn't work, or knocked him out for days at a time. He hadn't even really noticed the sun coming up, being bent over his desk as he was. He had his back to her, sketching away in another one of his multiple books. It was the only thing he could think to do to keep his mind occupied. He hadn't gotten dressed yet, and was still sitting in his pajama pants. Every once in a while he'd let out a yawn, he was completely exhausted and unable to do anything about it. It wasn't until he heard her moving did he finally look over at her. His eyes were bloodshot, with deep circles underneath them. "Morning." he said quietly, before turning his attention back to the sketchpad. He really wasn't looking forward to his classes later, but if he was lucky he could get a nap while she was gone before he had to go.

Ari jumped slightly when she heard another voice in the room blinking a few times as she looked over to see her roommate was already awake which surprised her. She noticed the red in his eyes and wondered if he had slept at all Oh great... he's just going to bark more... "Morning..." she muttered before sitting up. She still felt a great deal self conscious around him so she swiftly move to her closet to grab some clothes and then to the bathroom to clean up and change. The last thing she really wanted to do was get into an argument with the irritable guy and start her day on a completely bad mood again.

He mumbled something under his breath, though even he wasn't sure what he'd said. He was exhausted and incoherent, wanting nothing more than to go to sleep. He knew that if he tried, he'd just end up wide awake again. He sighed softly, hearing the bathroom door close and figured she'd gone in there to get ready. He continued focusing on his drawing, making small changes here and there. Erasing, re-drawing, repeating the same series of movements that he'd been doing for the last four hours now. He managed to draw out a very detailed character design, a medieval knight. He'd been working on drawing out the sections of chainmail, just letting his mind go blank as he drew the interlocked circles.

Ari washed up and changed into some summer outdoor type clothing, jean long shorts and a green tank top with sneakers. With him being so sleep deprived and no doubt moody Ari wasn't in much of a mind frame to stick around the dorm if it meant more snippy comments. So the teen left the bathroom and set her clothing on her bed before grabbing up her laptop back-pack and zipping it shut. "later." She muttered before taking her leave of the dorm heading first to get some breakfast then to find a nice place to settle in and get some work done.

He muttered something as she left, once again unaware of what he said. He was at that state of exhaustion that he felt delirious. It didn't register for another few minutes that she was gone, and it might be a good idea for him to get a shower and get dressed. He headed to the bathroom and got cleaned up, the shower helping more than he thought. He nearly fell asleep twice under the hot water. Once he was done he dried off, deciding to try and go back to sleep. He left his drawing on his desk and closed the curtains, glad that they plunged the room back into darkness again. With a heavy sigh he climbed back into bed, the newfound silence in the room helping him to finally go to sleep.

It was several hours which Ari managed was out of the dorm. She ate her breakfast and did some sketching before her first class. She was fairly distracted from the introduction class. Nothing really new or interesting even going on. Instead her mind was what she was going to do about her roommate situation. An annoying, irritable guy who was a traditionalist ass hat, at best. Honestly she found him more frustrating than intimidating. Still she had to deal with the cards she had been dealt. If luck was in her favor he could just move out and she would have a dorm all to herself. It was around noon when Ari made her way back to her dorm a container of food in hand as she wanted to settle in for the day and simple catch up on some comics. She hummed softly as she scanned her card and entered the room letting the door shut on its own. The last thing she expected was her roommate to still be asleep. Especially since most of the introduction classes happened in the morning or early afternoon.

Chris had slept soundly, glad for the silence the room offered. When the door closed he jolted awake, the motion causing him to smack his forehead against the wall. He let out a groan and rolled over, rubbing the sore spot on his head as he looked over at her. Irritation flooded his mind again, and he began to wonder if he was going to end up developing an ulcer because of her. He sighed heavily and sat up, trying to keep himself as calm as possible so the smack wouldn't lead to a full blown headache. "Welcome back." he said, irritation in his voice as he pushed the sheets off him and swung his legs over the edge, resting his feet on the ground. He reached over and checked his phone, letting out a heavy sigh when he saw the time. He'd missed his introduction class. "Fuuuckin' great." he groaned quietly, setting his phone back down as he grabbed up some clothes and headed into the bathroom to get changed and check the bump on his forehead. Of course he'd miss the first day. It wasn't the first time he'd done it either.

Ari refrained from snapping back at the grumpy bear of a room mate as she made her way to her bed and sat down pulling out her laptop. The teen just shook her head as he made his way to the back the room snickering softly once the door was closed. He really was hopeless. Shaking her head once again Ari started to munch on her burger while starting a youtube video of one of her favorite gamers.

Chris came out after a short while, a red spot on his forehead. He ignored her completely and moved to his desk to keep working on his drawing in silence. He'd have to explain to his professor why he missed, and hoped that it wouldn't affect his final grade too badly. He didn't know how important attendance was going to end up being. He sighed softly as he worked, feeling his irritation sliding away. It was really his only way to calm himself, doing art. Still, he couldn't help but wonder how different this semester was going to end up being, having been placed in a dorm with this irritation of a girl.

Ari glanced over as her roommate exited the bathroom only to go back to sketching. She glanced back and forth every once in a while before taking off her headset and turning to face him. Being so skittish and awkward about asking a simple question never sat well with her. The uneasy feeling of walking on eggshells, tension of wanting not to get into an argument. "So... what is your schedule like?" she questioned.

He paused, looking over his shoulder at her when she asked her question. "I have classes most of the week. Mid-morning to afternoon." he said, setting his pencil down and turning to face her. "I ended up missing my introduction class today." he added. Sure, he'd missed it before, but this time around he felt like it was her fault that he did. He was trying his hardest not to get irritated with her, but just the thought of it pissed him off. "Slept right through it." He sighed quietly, scratching his head. "Also, the bathroom door is as thin as paper. Did you think it was funny that I smacked my head when you came in?" he asked with a frown on his lips.

"Hm... not too different from mine..." She muttered more to herself than anything. She closed her container and set it aside to throw out later. She settled to lean back against her headboard. Her gaze shifted however noting the irritation his his voice from the last question. The teen quirked a brow before simply rolling her eyes and putting her head set back on. She wasn't going to bite. She had poked the bear once with a simple question last thing she wanted was some petty argument with the grump.
