Zeek managed to get his bearings again, he stagger in to the halls heading to the closes room with a window so he could get some air when he bumped into Alex truing the corner. Alex jumped back eye the red head with wearlynes. Zeek chucked a bit putting up his hands as a sign that eh was no threat. "well I'm glad to see your alright" he muttered "Thanks for saving us back there" Alex blinked "Your welcome... you must be one of the hybrids who needed rescuing. Zeek nodded "unfortunately... sometimes you get too comfortable when you stay protected for too long." Alex nodded staring at the hybrid something oddly familiar about him. "Very true... and you are?" "Zeek... we had something of a past..." he explained noticing the puzzled look on the boys face. "Before this whole brain messing with" Alex clarified having read the cliff notes version of what happened to him thanks to the hacking head done earlier." "You were my partner..." Zeek nodded motioning for the two to move outside as opposed to stucking around the halls. Alex followed a few paces behind. "You read up on your self then." "Was the only way to figure out why I was hear... it was stupid to stay with these people..." "I know..."

Muzai made the mistake of going onto the roof when she caught wins of the final sentence between the boy and his wolf. She sighed softly Deciding to go back inside. Before Getting suddenly being Hugged tightly by Ed. She smiled Grateful for the Man's sudden timing Hugging him tightly. Edward smiled "Im glad your back, I was worried sick when you two didn't come back...I take it things didn't turn out so well the way youre Hugging me." said The Blond Rubbing the fox's back." Nothing too bad Just probably the biggest mistake of my life not biggie...I'll be fine."" Freaked out,Irrational,nerotic and emotional.Yeah seems about right" Grinned ed Muzai Punched him lightly.He laughed. wincing lightly. "DA? What happened?" " Alex woke up and thought I was a badguy nutcase which lead to a chase scene which lead to me getting stabbed."" Asshole" she grumbled getting tired of their bullshit." hey now they just as paranoid as they should be.Honestly I would be too at his age.Give them some Patience and extra love princess they'll come around" " Or hate us forever" she grumbled.

Zeel sighed "They aren't... terrible..." "They might not be psychotic... but they have enemy... similar if not the same to ours... were just one big target..." Alex muttered. "I need to get out..." the boy added feeling trapped. Zeek nodded. "In time we can... we still have some bases under the radar.. . good little locals to dissapear for a while... we just have to deal with the issue at hand." Alex smirked "suddeny its We?" Zeek smirked back. "I know you too well... you'll get in trouble with out me." "That was when I was weak and stupid... arrogant... I'm not like that the many you ment and who I am are to different people,." Alex frowned. Zeek tilted his head sightly "Is still see the same kid whos too smart for his own good... and is very damaged by his past... weather your just a serious smart ass instead of an cocky smart ass..." the wolf explained. "and you might have read the cliff notes version of your self but I'v been with you the last 7 years of your life... i know our enemy, Allys and how to deal with clients and how to dissapear with our net work." Edward smiled sadly." It will be alright my little Kit, dont be so hard or so negative on yourself. Now cmon Dinner is almost set,why dont you come down with me and see if there's anything you'd like hm?" he suggested hoping it might get the girl's mind off her failure if her stomach was involved.Muzai nodded Following her dad down.

Zeek sighed. "Best now to sit and wait... in time we'll have our chance untill then play nice ok?" Alex raised an eye brow "play nice? really?" "yes really... you dont have to be buddy buddy but try not to stab any one..." "too late for that..." zeek rolled his eyes "try not to stab anyone else... again..." "no promises... I want nothing to do with Connor..." "And he wants little to nothing to do with you, just avoid paths. now come on dinners almost done from what I can smell." "I rather eat after..." he muttered not exactly likeing the idea of a big family dinner with people he knew nothing about "Fair enough... I rather not be around a bunch of people either..." Zeek sat beside the boy on the railing. the two of them looking out over the snowy moutains. finding comfort in the silence.

Muzai grabbed a large bowl of stew making her way back up to the roof seeing the boys come in. Connor eventually Joined her on the roof. " mind if I join you? We can mull in our mutual self-blame together" he smiled. Muzai chuckled. " Alright blondy come on up" she chuckled. A few days past Muzai did her best to Avoid Zeek but her mind was slowly getting the best of her. When the red Wolf Ran into her in one if the living rooms she had Dark lines under her eyes her muttering softly to herself while looking over some papers.Connor Progressively got More and more stable helping the girl keep her attention in the present discovering his shapeshifting powers were back he started testing them out slowly testing shifts in eye color and hair color with ella's Help.

The days past with surprising calm. the two loners found being around the rest of the happy family less awkward bust still didn't do it very often. Alex saw it very strange how cooperative every was to leave him alone the minute he started to feel his anxiety kick in. So much so he thoguht they were playing hinm for a fool or leading him into some kinda trap with their respect for space and cooperation to which zeek flicked him on the nose for being paranoid. He found the red head errily accurate when it came to reading him some times he dint know weather to punch him or thank him for keeping him from going off the edge. Zeek kept the kid busy by challenging him with hacking exercies or obstical coarses for him to focuse hie energy on while staying sharp with his skills. Zeeks anger towards Muzai seemed to fad to worry each day as much as he hatted it. he no longer glared or growled at her simply just avoiding eye contact and watching her mutter off into space torn between approaching her to ask what was wrong and keeping his distance.

Edward finally managed to get Alex's New ID made not needing to use Tony's name.He even Made Alex Zeek's official 'owner' with the right to Release him at anytime. Maxie and Aaron spent time with their son who was rather smart for his age and tried to befriend Alex the boy picked things up quickly just from his minor interactions with Alex but he also could sense Alex's fear and did his best to keep his distance from the boy knowing he wasn't welcome.

Alex accepted the ID but didnt run away. Antonios movements were too erratic to really predict so behind six layers of defense seemed the most viable option currently. He tried not to snap at the odd kid or be rude. Still he spent most of his time wit the computers trying to get info or playing Zeek at chest something the hybrid did to get the boy away from throwing something at the computers when he got frustrated or needed to talk things out. as they were doing currently. Alex crossed his arms over his chest watching zeek make his move. "He's going to come here eventually... so why hasnt he..." "didnt you send chases for him to go after?" "yeah but he should of seen through that by now... unless hes just doing the same to me in which I should have seen through those already too...." the wolf sighed moving a pawn. "Your over thinking it, Zander. Antonio is not that smart or that saine..." Alex sighed moving his rook to capture the pawn. "He has people who are. something just doesn't sit right with all this..." "your letting your paranoia get to you." "when youve been burried underground with a corps id like to see you not be paranoid..." Zeeks ears drooped slightly "fair enough..." he moved another pawn having it captured isntantly by the boy.

Muzai Managed to launch The Companies main New Inventions without a Hit Gaining the company top ranks once again appeasing her board members and guaranteeing the success of the company. However it was at a cost Other than muttering to herself Muzai seemed to sometimes stop and stare at a particular corner Before shaking her head Rubbing her eyes harshly." you're not real just a construct of my Imagination.." she mumbled with a bit of a growl as she sat at the dining room table putting her head in her hands.

Zeek sat back just staring at the board. "What you suppose we do then?" "i don't know... the man is more crazy than I remember... He's going to come here eventually..." the boy muttered thinking aloud. Zeek shook his head. "We have 3 options... leave and hide, strike first or wait to defend..." the wolf pointed out making the bioy just grumble under his breath.
Maxie made ehr way to the dinning room worried about the girl. "Muzai..." she called softly before entering the room not sure how the girl was

Muzai dropped her hands tilting her head towards Maxie. There was no denying the fact that she wasnt sleeping, or eating much, she had started to hear voices even see images of her past run through the hall including the old a9 himself asking if she was fine. She was losing it, the band worked little to help matter only making her dillusions worse when she flipped it on. She waited to see if this maxie was real or just another figment of her imagination." Yes Maxie?" She said cautiously.

Maxie aproached the girl "just wanted to check up on you... you havent been sleeping or eating much... you might be able to fool those stuff shirts but you cant fool me..." she smiled softly sitting beside the girl "the bands not helping?"

Muzai sighed raggedly. " No, it's honestly made a few things worse.Now I understand what you meant by the voices." Said the fox rubbing her neck.Her ear twiched as she looked across the table at an empty chair as if someone was in there. Before she looked back at Maxie. " Is there anything else I really need to look out for? " she asked rather calm for someone who was slowly losing her grip on reality.
